Empowering girls and women with self-defence skills is crucial in today’s society. Such programs not only equip them with physical techniques to protect themselves but also boost their confidence, self-esteem, and mental toughness. By learning self-defence, girls can develop a sense of autonomy and independence, which is essential for their overall well-being and safety. These programs also help to counter harmful gender stereotypes and promote a culture of respect and equality.
Kudos to the girls who participated in the self-defence program and to the organizers who made it possible. Mrs. Lalita Nijhawan, President of CKRDT, was on dais and presiding over the function.
